hid install on a 2000 ej8
i have searched for this and i cant find anything so i was wondering if anyone new of a diy write up for a hid install from these hids

..well....you plug them in. thats it. The instructions on how to plug them in come with the kit. But....seriously you just plug them in. You need instructions for this like you need instructions to drink a glass of water.

Plug and play ftl
Before you go out and spend whatever money on pnp hid's that will blind everyone on the road, get a good halogen, like the phillips X-treme or X-travision.
I got those and they light better than my plug and play kit ever did.

i wouldnt go that far.. plug and play kits are cheap and get the job done... i finally see all the potholes at night so i dont go into them cuz my car is low.. and they are pointed down so they dont distract the oncoming driver

^ ^ did you try a quality halogen?
Aiming you HID's lower is likely making lighting worse. By giving you less visable distance, but better near vision.
It's like wandering in the woods with a dim flashlight, getting a hella bright spotlight and pointing it at your shoes isn't going to do you any good.

EK guy has the nail on the head, HIDs are more hyped up than what they really are, i havent heard many success stories with them. Best ive heard yet is OEM 4300k from the TSX retrofitted into 94-01 Integra projectors. Other than that, your just getting a color that will attract cops, and not get that much of a light gain. Best bet is the higher grade halogens such as the philips Xtreme, which i am still having trouble ordering from the UK sites, lol.

Just keep in mind that the higher the K, the lesser light output will be but you'll have a fancy color.
In example the light output of a 6k will be brighter and reach further then 8k and so on.

Yea i gotta admit i ordered the 10k's and quickly switched back to 8k and hopefully soon to 6k.
