This is going to be my 1st street bike. I was going to offer him 4k-4.2k cash.
2002 Yamaha YZF-R6Awesome 2002 R6 with 9500 miles. Outstanding bike, runs like brand new! Viper exhaust and Speed O'recall. 50 teeth sproket and extra parts i.e. chain, two sets of sprokets, clutch cable. Comes with all black helmet and female pink helmet, both HJC's. The best R6 there is, is the '05 R6. If anything there should be some decent ones around for 5-6k?
My sis got her '02 for $1500 (10000+ miles), but had to fix the stator cover, n' a couple miscellaneous parts, but in all, wasn't too much work. Ended up spending a couple hundred bucks. It runs like a top now.
BTW, if you do get the bike, take those stickers off.. uhgghgh.

The bike was laid down. Yea I think the stickers look stupid too. I do like the paint job and the miles. This dough is burning a hole in my pocket but I'm going to hold off. I'm sure I can find a beautiful bike for 4k.

I don't think it's a matter of fast as much as easy to ride, reliability and cost of entry.
