Default Strange noise at lower rpms

I tried searching so before any says anything, shoosh, I searched !!

N e hoo, yesterday I was driving and noticed a strange clicking type noise comin from my car. Its not from the wheel area like it might be a cv joint of something, instead it sounds like its coming from under the hood. When sitting at idle, nothing, when getting up to speed in the 2-4k rpm range is when its making it.

Any clue as to what it could be ?!?!

Thanks in advance guys !!

clicking sound? do you have any mods like a SRI or CAI? and are you sure thats not knocking either? How long ago have you changed your oil?

I have a CAI and I just changed the oil this past weekend.

I've had the CAI for like a year and a half and have never heard that sound before.

I had a similar problem but it turns out that after doing some 180's at an abandoned street the lug nuts came loose and the wheel was shaking around. Check your nuts.
