Default where's my traction?!

i took the project ej1 to a track today for some fun with some other guys from my classes. it has tokico shocks dropzone coilovers and front and rear strut tower bars, and a rear camber kit... brand new kumho ecsta ast tires

as i went around a pretty wide turn the car just started to go sideways... wdf? any suggestions? i was going about 45 through the turn

i don't think it should've slid out from under me that easily

what are your settings, ride height, toe, camber, any formal driving classes. Are you running a rear sway bar. You said brand new tires. most tires have a brake in period before they reach max grip. Your question is so wide open it is impossible to answer.

it's dropped 2 inches, and the camber is just a little bit negative, toe is right. There's no rear sway bar. never had a formal driving class but i've had i guess you could say lessons with a track driver

let me phrase it this way. someone could give you a perfectly set up car and you could get in it and spin it on a corner at 45 that they drove through at 100 because of driving ability. You are going to need to get someone that knows how to set up/drive a car with you to find areas that need improvement or you might want to get involved with a chapter of the scca in your area. Many offer driving classes and there are a ton of people that you will meet that will be able to help you sort out your car for running at the track.
