Default 01 Cbr 600 F4i No Start

Well last night went to start up the Bike and it would not start. The fuel pump would not prime, the front head light, and turn signals would not come on. It will crank but with no fuel... well yeah... The Rear light comes on and the turn signals on the rear stuck on. On the gauge cluster the High beam light is on and the turn signals stay on. Note the FI light comes on and goes off like every other time. Any ideas?

How is the battery? Have you checked the tip-over sensor? (I think the service manual calls it 'bank angle sensor')

Do the logical things... Fuses, check for secure ground, try priming the battery with a jumper/trickle. after that you can start thinking about selling her

i'm always inclined to check the BAS when the fuel pump isn't priming, but the headlight turn signal thing is making me think it's something deeper than just the BAS.

it could be a coincidence and two separate problems.

thanks for the help guys, figured out the problem

the front harness which goes by the forks had a bad connection. managed to get it to my shop and it was just a corrosive problem.

thanks again

dude remove the main fairing that houses the headlights and check the main plug wehre it plugs into the wiring harness. if its unplugged the pump wont prime and your headlights wont work
