guys ive searched and cant find the location of the srs computer in 96-00 civics. could someone please tell me where exactly its located and if you have a pic it would be greatly appreciated ... tia

 

from this it looks like it is in the center console under the radio. it is enclosed in a plastic cover. should be right by your driving foot. the unit is part number 4

 

yeah i saw that diagram ... was just wondering if anyone knew for sure , but im just gonna trace the yellow loom back to it ... thanks for your help though

 

no prob, cause i have the honda manual and it shows a better picture. thats where the picture puts it right on the floorboard in the center by your foot. good luck with it.

 

i just took a look at mines and thats where it is. just remove the panel on the left side of the console

 

yeah got it out in 5 minutes ... right on the hump in the cenetr of the floor behind the center console.... black plastic covers held oon with 2 plastic black screws and the computer is bolted in with 4 torx screws ..... thanks allot
