holy questions batman!
I am fine, the gear did its job, held up great. this is the 3rd time I have been down with these leathers (Joe Rocket Speedmaster suit), gloves(A* GP Techs) and boots (A* SMX Plus). I have a few bruises.. and a pretty bad bruise on my elbow/forearm, but nothing broke. ego hurt a little more.
Bike is okay, needs new upper (already ordered), brake lever (crg levers ordered), and rear set ( ordered as well).
there is some rash - I am debating painting it and getting new stickers to make it mint again.
This happened at Summit Point Main.
I was coming to the brake markers.. at the second one in, i started my down shifting and braking. with the twin the engine braking is AWESOME. As i was getting into 2nd gear, it went into netutral instead. I was expecting some engine braking and had none, I grabbed a handful of brake, finally got it in second, and just dove into the turn. I knew i would run super wide, but felt I was going to make it. I was trail braking and the front tucked
My biggest issue is coming into a turn after a long straight - I need to really figure that out

For track days it's not super important as long as your bike is well maintained, but
Safety Wire FTW
