if it's an auto make sure that you have it all the way in park!...really push it hard...it gets stuck sometimes...if it's a manual i dunno what to tell you!

man that sucks, one time i lost my key and i couldnt find it and then i went to look for the spare and what do you know no where to be found, luckily i found it in the washer. duh check pockets before removing clothing ~ note to self.

but for the problem i would just try what nick said, if its a stick well maybe pull real hard.

If you cant get it out at all, you might need a whole new key insert ignition metal thingamagig.

try turning the wheel from one side to the other... maybe start the car and recenter the wheels first

this same thing happened to me when Honda cut me a new key. I used just a little spritz of wd-40 with the little red wand thing they give you with it and it pops right out. Be careful with those, ive had it like 6 months and it still doesnt fit in the trunk or door.

i wish i had it in front of me, but i dont.. but there is a bottle of "dry grease" for locks specifically, WD-40 eats at the metal and wears it down after use... this bottle is clear with a grey powder and a red top.. we found it at the hardware store in the lock section.. i had the same key problem with the trunk and the lock to release the back seats, i puffed some of this crap into the locks once a day for about 3 days and it began to work.
