Default I need estimates

im gonna start putting my EM2 on blocks early next month and work on it, i just want an estimate of how much would be the expense if ill drop H or K under the hood, what would be worthit and what not, this is just for the people that have done it and also if anyone of you have turbo'd a non vtec SOHC (LX stock engine) please feel free to throw your estimate of how much did it cost you and the power gained, and by the way this is a daily driven car, thanks

Sadly, he is telling the truth. Most of us on here have seen this thread 50+times already. U need to search, or u will get flamed.

As for brjhnson, u need to chill out dude, being an asshat will get u banned quick. There is an easier way to tell someone that they need to search 1st.

cant do H

read up on K - it's the only feasible swap.

turbo stock motor - $3000+ and numbers are based on your setup, everyone has different numbers.

I would post the link, but then u wouldn't have learned how to search?

If we always did this then why the hell would there be a search function? Newbies need to learn how to properly do a search, so these damn repeat threads dont come up day in and day out.

If u searched H-series swap u woulda found out that an H-swap is NOT possible. Therefore leaving a K series as your only option, which is the reason there is a swap guide for a Kseries swap.

Like i said i did search but found nothing if you can post up the link of the thread that says and explain the question i had, im not gonna come back in this site to ask anymore, search function huh? Search button is for you people that knows where is that same topic thats been asked located and save the hussle and make things convenient to new people wich they can do to others aswell also we can always use that search function if you wanna buy something since we all know that people sell stuff here too.

naw dude, the reason we say that is because people come in here, regularly, maybe once every two weeks, asking the same questions. we get bored of it and if the person would've searched beforehand, they would've found the information without having to go through all this.

trust me, on every forum you go to, there will be people who feel this way.

don't waste your time looking for info on H swap, stick to K swap or boosted D17 - that's the only thing you can do.

good luck, if you can't find something after you search, we'll be happy to help.

no i took you guy's word already in regards of swapping an H, like i said imma go for a K even though my friends told me if you were just to show your car off might as well go for turbo but i said i wont due to engine complication and problems in the future that i have to worry.

and i understand that its kinda of a retard if people ask "common" questions over and over get you guys bored of hearing it, thing is this guy made a mountain out of this hill its not like thsi question is what you see every twice a week or whatever.

I think people use the search function, but don't search in the archives, probably because they don't see the option, which will provide more information. That or they don't know what archive means

i guess maybe one of the items you asked about wasn't asked before...the one about the H swap, but that's like asking about a B swap, i guess. anywho, don't worry about it, you got your answers eventually, lol.

I was actually trying to be nice, and get the point across. I could have taken brjhnson's approach and ripped ur head off.

I did tell u what u needed to know

The H wouldnt drop in, and Kseries are 5-8 grand depending on engine/DIY install.

Then i just wanted to encourage a new user to rely on the search function before asking common questions.
