Default Modding the JDM R header

So i read a post awhile back about someone who sanded and rewelded the R header for increased air flow. how much of a difference does this make, was a header like this used in the header test? if not, what kind of improvements in the numbers do you think there would have been? also does anyone have the link for the how-too on that? thanks.

you'll probably only gain a couple WHP out of grinding down the welds and removing the resonator out of the collector, but it's easy and cheap to do, so why not...

check out D's write up on his website...good details http://www.sandmracing.com/m_e02_jdmheader.html

Asspenny and I cut out the resonator on his w/ just a Dremel and it didn't take long at all...
