well i jus got a b16 bottom for free the only problem is it has a rod noc and i work in a shop so i was gona tear it apart and figure out wat the problem is and while i was at it i wanted to drop some ctr pistons and im not sure at obd it is but i have obd0 head to put that would mate no problem correct??? also i have a obd1 civic coupe so could anyone give me a rough estimate on parts that i would need to do the swap thanks

 

PCT pistons will greatly heighten the Compression Ratio to where you'll need 93 octane and will need tuning. I do not thing it is very good for DD, but its your pick.

 

so do u think i would be jus better off goin for stock b16 pistons and i was thinkin bout ctr or itr cams but i wasnt sure which ones were the best any suggestions

 

ctr means you have to mill .25 over, tear the block apart and if you need to resurface just go ctr, if not keep the pr3's

you can convert the head to obd1 with del sol vtec obd1 parts, yes the head will mate up

dizzy, i belive knock sensor, rear coolant pipe, ecu and a few ther misc things

the p30 ecu is what you need to pass BAR and you have to make sure that the b16a head is newer than the year of your car via block stamp, just tell them the motor is a jdm replacent engine that is newer than the year of your car

 

ok thax and i also can use axles from 99-00 and 94-00 integras and civics correct any b series basically ??? and also besides a flywheel clutch and transmission is there anything else i would need thanks

 

mounts, bolts, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, starter, basically everything else a swap needs lmao
