Default crank and crank pulley???

my engine block is on a stand and I'm trying to take the crank out so I can take the block to get a new hone. Was wondering how I take the crank pulley off to get the crank out? Any ideas?

this tool would work? What would hold the crank to not spin freely while trying to take the crank pulley bolt off?

that tools goes into the crank pully, a 1/2 breaker bar holds that tool, get another breaker bar with a socket for the crank pully bolt, find a way to hold the 1/2 breaker bar so the crank pully will not turn and use the other breaker bar to break loose the bolt

There are no local stores that I know of that carry this 'specialty' tool. You have to play the wait game and order it....or give the procedure in the Helms a once-over a week or two before hand to prepare for things like this. It's certainly illustrated in the Helms that you'd 'need' this tool to do what you're trying to do.

There is another way too..

the honda tool is a toothed piece of metal that attaches to the block using a tranny bolt , and the teeth hold the fly wheel.

LOL. We had a pos plug in impact tool and it did the job. I am sure that or an air impact would work.

i would suggest srpaying the bolt a couple times with some kind of penetrating fluid and letting it sit. i have broken too many bolts during my swap, not fun at all to mess with.
