I know how to check it I put a paper clip in, but the check engine light doesn't blink. It's the SRS light that blinks and it blinks non stop the same amount of time in between each blink. i have counted up to 200 blinks... I'm confused? Any help?

 

are you jumping the right pins? just a question. which light is on the srs or the cel.

 

Yes its the right pin. When I turn the car to the on position with the paper clip in the check engine light comes on and stays on. The SRS light blinks non stop as stated above.??

its normal for the SRS light to blink continually at the same interval when checking CELS. do you have a check engine light on when you are jumping the connector? the only time i see a solid CEL in mine was when i was test fitting a connector and i had no CEL to begin with.... interesting....

 

Yeah when I jump the connector the Check Engine light stays solid while the srs light blinks?
