****Plug wires****
I bought a set of s.p.w (advance auto) for my 93' prelude si, and they seem to be way too long. I called them and gave them the reference # for the wires and they said that it matches up to the same make/trim, but I've got a funny feeling that they're full of ****. I haven't had the time to take them back yet to explain it and make sure. I was just woundering if anyone ran into this same problem before.
To be a little more detailed, a few of the wires seem to be at least 6 to 8 inches longer than the oems that I took off. If they are the wrong wires.....Could this hurt the engine if driven for a few weeks? By the way the wires are not performance wires, they're just the oem replacements.
Thanks,

but the boots plug into plugs properly (pull plug and set in boot to see)? and they fit on distributor terminals properly too? then they would be okay, but longer the wire, higher resistance to it might make your spark less explosive. not by much i wouldn't think though. you'd probably be okay
also check resistance with multi meter if you have one. (one end to other) and match to other oem plug resistance. if similar then they would be fine to put on your car.
