DOHC ZC in a 92-95 civic? few questions...
Hey guys, my friend is looking to get rid of his D16z6 and wants to put a DOHC ZC engine into his car.
I have a few questions tho, has anybody done this or is this a swap that is worth doing?
He wants to stick with a NA engine and D-series so the DOHC ZC has been a good option to go with.
Just wondering but will the d16z6 mounts work fine on the dohc ZC? what about the rear engine bracket?
Would wiring this engine up be a bit of a hassle? since I belive it's only OBD-0?
also, will a d16z6 Flywheel/Clutch kit work on a DOHC ZC engine???
Thanks, I've tried to search but couldn't find all the info that I'm looking for.

when buying a ZC for 92-5 cars, make sure you get a 92+ spec OBDI DOHC ZC usually extra $50-100 but you get the proper mounts, distributor and electronics. All in all less hassles, newer motor and slightly more power.
If the motor is OBDI then, mounts are all the same, rear bracket is tranny specific not motor.
Again get a OBDI ZC its simply less hassles, otherwise OBDI dizzy, injectors and temp sensor, and block mounts will need to be swapped. Yes, all 90-00 d-series flywheels/clutches are interchangeable.
