zc
would a zc be an exact swap out for a d16z6? and where could i get one? cuz i had a d16z6 that i got from a junk yard but it was a bs motor. they put a head from one car and a bottom end from another one on it and sold it to us. we dont even know where either parts came from so we made them take it back. im so damn pissed. dont ever buy from a junkyard unless u c the motor in the car

why dont you tell us about the car and the engine.
I wouldnt recommend you trying to retro-fit the 87-91 style zc engine in a 92-up car. These motors are just too old man....just tooo old
I know for a year or two they made a zc with OBD1 and a hydro tranny, for the 92-93 anniversary edition sedan.....but they are rare.
I am not going to tell you not to do the ZC...I loved those motors years ago.

ok. thanks man. i didnt know anything about these and i was trying to find out about them. i just need a new motor fast and only have about a grand to spend on it and saw the zc on jdmfaze.com and saw that it was in my price range. oh well, i guess ill just get it rebuilt.
does anybody know nething about the j-spec d16? isnt it like the d15b or something like that? im not too sure about that one either.
