Default ls swap cost

I hear these cost $500 but, I'm not finding any for that much.
also the car I'm putting it in is a 96 obd2 so should I try to find an obd2 swap or an obd1 and why?

my LS swap $935 for a 98 b18b swap. i got the engine, 5psd tranny, axles, dizzy, a/c, p/s, all mounts, shift linkages, engine harness uncut, and radiator hoses uncut. i got lucky on the price. i ordered it here from a J/Y in SC in the upstate part in Easley, SC.

Optional stuff i had to purchase was a LS throttle cable for $25, obd1 ECU p72 i think for $90, oil/filter, tranny fluid, brake fluid, p/s fuid, and guage cluster bulbs for about $44.
