You need to sell your car and buy a Ferrari...

Edit: but honestly, what is the K20 in and what is it running at the track? What are you running at the track? What mods do you feel you can do to beat that? Its pretty simple, if he is running a 13.5 and you are running a 13.8 or so for example and you have only bolt ons like I/H/E, then you can still add an IM, CAMS etc. right?

sell your car and get a v8 w/bolt-ons, or if you have lots of $$ build your Ls-vtec a bit more, or you can do an H2B, then maybe you'll be running side by side with kswapped hondas if your a good driver. And most importantly do a lot more research and reading before posting

what in the hell are you talking about?

do you even know what an H2B is? If you do then you know its impossible for him to use it because he doesn't have an H. you need an H to go H to B

so you do more research before posting

get a turbo kit faster then a k20 unless it is also has forced induction

most of what you need
http://www.xs-power.co.uk/shop...d=224

your going to need bigger injectors tunning and some clamps on stock internal you can run 7 ilbs safe be way faster than a stock k20 even with basic bolt ons

Did you even read what I typed, I said do an H2B, did I say turn your current motor into H2B you F'n idiot. If someone told you to do a b-series motor if you have a d-series, if you have common sense you'll know automatically and instinctively that it means, swap it out for b-series motor cause you obviously can't convert a d-series motor to a b-series. To break it down for you in preschool or elementary terms, swap out his current motor and swap in an H2B if he has the funds to do it. Now Read again what I said,

Should I get a training stick to teach you how to interpret words and use common sense? any honda enthusiast can easily figure that out, you sack of ****. You should purchase a copy of "Reading comprehension and interpretation Dummies"
and do your own research and reading.

k20 civics are overrated, 10k to go 13 seconds in a quater..................you can go quicker with a better build, only reason people like k series motors is becuase they respond better to boltons who cares if he doesnt have any smoke him

x2, those are the people who have $$ or have good connections or have both. The money spent on a k-swap, tune, etc, you can easily piece together a turbo kit, tune it and out perform a k20.

Take it to the track "family-in-their-mini-van-on-the-way-home-from-dinner" killer.

Anything + 20lbs of boost with a t3/04 = game over for k20.

if it's just a k20 it's likely a 13 second car. So boost the crap out of whatever you have, get some street rep and do some drifts y0 so you can go home and feel like you really accomplished something.

not only overated, but just imagine how much security you would want to put on your car due to the fact desperate thieves out there have more incentive in stealing your car since it has a kswap. Maybe b-series gave thieves a tickle, but knowing that you have a kswap in that tiny civic, integra, etc, gives them an immediate rush of adrenaline and who knows what lengths they will take to get your motor and car. BOOST the darn motor you have, that extra kswap money you have, if spent or used wisely could be for your security.

Yep, there's a lot more incentive to steal a car with 10k in stuff under the hood.

Not to mention most k's have a lot of other stuff done as well..

And it's not hard for a theif to tell what you have just by looking under your car.

As I mentioned before, if you got the greens and the hooks, by any means get a k20 swap. Luckily I have connections to obtain a k20 swap, but don't want to spend that type of money for it, I'm using it for my other boosted car, lol. Working on a b-series motor is time consuming already.

Crying won't even cope, once your honda is gone, its gone for good, sad to say, I'd say more then 50% of honda-tech members here have had their car broken into, stolen, or close to being stolen. My precious eg6 built ls-vtec almost got stolen 2 years ago, F'n thieves I knew it was the damn next door neighbors, but couldn't do much since that entire complex was filled with gangster killing fools, wouldn't want them shooting up my apartment while im sleeping. Cops didnt give a rats, since swat was there twice a week.
