Default Storing my turbo

well since I blew my motor it will take several months to get back on the road. do any of you all use procedures to store your turbos after they have been used? I know there is oil residue inside maybe a bit of coking. I want to run some cleaner down into the bearing housing but I am afraid of washing out the bearings and rings.
Thanks for any info.

im not sure about putting cleaner into the turbo, but at least put a cover over the compressor housing where the air filter pipes connect to as well as the compressor housing that runs to your intercooler piping.

I might store it under my pillow. Dream of boosting again. Right now its just sitting at the shop with the oil lines still connected but removed from the head.
