probably because someone adjusted the idle screw without unplugging the eacv first.. iv done it and got the wistle. adjusted the idle the right way and its gone... its because you close the screw so far down.

Correct, back off your idle adjust screw a tad and it will go away.

i had the same problem and i fixed the idle screw as well and everything sounded good but all throttle bodys might whistle depending on what gear/and mph your going just because the butterfly will be open and when air rushes in it is just like you whistling with your mouth but this problem is more prone to happen on a car with aftermarket intake.

That whistle used to drive me crazy whenever my CRX was running

I never could figure out what it was, but I did do alot of adjusting on the TB. I guess thats why...

My DOHC ZC CRX and friend's CRX with D15b (both have AEM CAI) make a weird whistling sound at certain load/RPM. Doesn't really bother me.

make sure you adjust the idle correctly ... search it. you have to unplug the eacv before touching the idle screw.

It's not a unique occurance with the CRX. My stock S2000 does it too. Sure it's quiet but you can still hear it.
