Ok I have done some searching but I am still confused reason being because I just did a rear disc swap on my EK [no big deal] but the wacky part is the parking brake cables are short. The donor car was a 2 door EG. Since the lines do have 2 cracks in each one and are not held together as nicely as I would like I am going to buy after market cables the issue arises when the after market part number sources the same car as the donor car as well the EK sedan that I tell the parts dude I am buying these for.

Since my parts counter person has limited experience I am asking you all should I be concerned. My thought was after market lines may be longer or have changed slightly to fit more cars, not to sure though. OEM would be nice but not for the price tag! Ouch!

 

Aren't ebrake cables around $75 for a pair?

 

Aftermarket yes, but Honda wanted $100 ish a side for "OEM"
