Default Question on clearance?

Ok I have a question that I looked around and was not able to answer on my own. I am building 2 motors right now, kinda half *** but trying my best. I have a 94 ls motor that I am putting in ctr pistons in on stock rods with ARP rod bolts, what I would like to know is should I have the head milled or just remove the middle layer of the head gasket and save my money? If the answer is have the head milled how far can I safely mill it with these pistons ? I do plan on putting a set of aggresive cams at some point crower 403' or 404's. The head has a full port and polish and on it. Thanks for any help.

WHY do you need any more compression than the CTR pistons will give you? How the hell is 13:1 not enough? I say re think your whole build, go with some b16 pistons. And read up before you buy.

403's are not very aggressive.

I want as much compression as possible, this motor will be used for racing on a circle track running 112 octane fuel and with the cams I will ad before racing it I think that the more compression I have the better it will be. I am not very concerned with how reliable it will be as it will only run about 400 miles its whole life. I know I didnt give all the info about the motor and its use, but I did give enough info to help answer the question I presented. So if you are going to not help what was the point of posting on the thread? Thanks mr. johnson that site was useful. Thanks Chad

here's a pic of its purpose......[IMG][/IMG]

Your right, you did not give enough information to answer the question.
