Default pre boost annoyances

...so im about 4 days away from boosting my 97 Acura integra and a week ago i decided to seafoam my throttle body b/c my rolling idle was at around 1300rpm and was annoying me. So after i seafomed, my cars idle starting "hunting"(bouncing between 1500 and 900) and now im hearing a faint rapid tapping that ive never heard before. Im guessing it is one of my valves. Im not too worried about the valve tap(should i be???) but i am worried about the hunting idle. its so ******* ANNOYING. So after the seafoam fiasco i took off my IACV and sprayed the hek out of with with carb cleaner. My idle still hunts! I checked my coolant levels...good. I checked my oil to see if it was milky(blown head gasket). not the problem. So i can't think of anything else to do to fix my ******* idle.

MOD LIST currently on the car:
stock B18B1
DSM 450cc injectors.
Obd2>1 conversion
Crome Pro base map
High FLow fuel pump
Boost/oil gauge.
PLX m300

someone please help me diagnose this weksauce problem.

Check the plugs. Dont use seafoarm without expecting to change the plugs and do an oil change. Did you drive the car around after you used it?

well, i didn't use that much sea foam. I used the spray can and only used about an 8th of it directly into the throttle body @ 3k rpm. Its crazy, but i just put brand new sparkplugs in my car 3 days before i did the seafoam!

From what ive read your supposed to put seafoam into the brake booster. NOT directly into the throttle body...

There are quite a few places to put it, including the brake booster or the throttle body or even the gas tank....

The reason I think your car is idleing like it is, is because you put the seafoam in there causing it to break up some deposits that were clogging a small hole or crack somewhere in the intake manifold or somewhere in the head, therefor causing it to idle how it is.

Seafoam should be a last resort for problems, there are plenty of things you can check for high idle issues.

u have 450s in. is the crome map for the 450 for your car. if its only a basemap i can see it being a problem. do u have a resistor box on it.

yeah, i have a resistor box and my dsm 450s have been tuned for my car for almost 8 months now. but all the problems started happening about 2 months ago(high rolling idle). Im not sure if its due to the weather change, but after i get my new datalogging cable(honda log sucks *****), im going to retune everything. Later tonight, ill be checking my car for any vac leaks and pulling and swapping plugs again. I swear on my life this motha fukin hunting idle is sooooo ******* annoying. omg! and the faint valve noise is getting annoying also, but i expected that after using seafoam, b/c it breaks up carbon buildup ...ect ect. but i never expect a hunting idle after this bullshit. and my high moving idle still exists. my car is slowly going to ****, at this rate ill NEVER be boosted. and ive been stacking parts for the better part of 2 years.

The reason they tell you to use the brake booster is because it is consumed throughout all 4 cylinders more evenly, rather than having all or most of it go through 3, 2, or even 1.
