okay so apparently my car has a coolant drip.. theres a hose coming out of the firewall to some black thing thats bolted onto the firewall with a screw on top of it and it has a loop for the heater and ac control .. what is that piece and is it known to leak or something ? my car doesn't have heat right now so we're just trying to figure out wtf is going on ..

 

i found out its the heater control valve, can someone explain this to me ? even though mine is leaking will it still be okay to drive the car?

 

Its fine....just keep an eye on the coolant and FIX IT.

You can always just run the hoses into a loop on the back of the block too.

 

so its definatly fine to drive for now as long as i keep an eye on the coolant level ? because this **** kind of pours out over time .

 

pouring out....ouch better carry coolant with you at all times

just do what si said, i run all my motors with the loop. i dont need a heater in FL

 

can you explain what to loop and how?
