wtf black honeycomb looking piece?
okay so apparently my car has a coolant drip.. theres a hose coming out of the firewall to some black thing thats bolted onto the firewall with a screw on top of it and it has a loop for the heater and ac control .. what is that piece and is it known to leak or something ? my car doesn't have heat right now so we're just trying to figure out wtf is going on ..
i found out its the heater control valve, can someone explain this to me ? even though mine is leaking will it still be okay to drive the car?
so its definatly fine to drive for now as long as i keep an eye on the coolant level ? because this **** kind of pours out over time .

You can always just run the hoses into a loop on the back of the block too.</TD></TR></TABLE>
just do what si said, i run all my motors with the loop.
i dont need a heater in FL
