What are some good spark plug wires???

 

oem wires are pretty good no need for aftermarket wires if you just have minor bolt ons

 

OEM wires are good.. if your wires are in need of replacement take a look at either another set of OEM, NGK or Bosch wires.. you can also look at MSD or Magnecor but they cost a bit more and don't have much benefit... I had a problem w/ my Magnecor set popping off a spark plug.. I tried everything from crimping the receptacle inside, changing the plugs, changing the spark plug gaskets (under valve cover) etc.. nothing helped so I put back my OEM plugs.. and they work great.. magnecor said their wire wasnt defective.. but my stock wires dont pop off .. so geez I wonder..

I wanted red wires to match my valve cover

 

stock wires are cool only for minor boltons. i would rather have some performance wires like Vitek, MSD, or Magnecore. OEM and NGK offer less resistance... but performance wires work better for upgraded ignition systems.

 

If you want them red, get the magnecores. I have had them for over a year, with about 35k miles on them. I have yet to have one pop off.
