Default KYB GR-2

Hey folks I tried searching the suspension forums for prelude applications but was unsuccessful in finding the information i was looking for.

Its a little late now but I've ordered a set of these KYB GR-2's for the lude and plan to use them with the set of Skunk2 coils in my garage. I was gonna go for the KYB AGX's but decided against because i really dont require the adjustabillity for damper settings as i dont go to the track but maybe 1nce a year and mainly take the car out for "Spirited drives" .

Right now my Shocks are dead and my springs are coilbound the previous owner of my car had ebay special coils on the front (the kind that must have cost 20$).. so i guess what im asking is can i safetly assume that i will be back to a stock if not slightly better than stock performance with what i have purchased or..wether i should go cry myself to sleep cuz i bought the wrong type of shock? or

You should be alot better off with skunk2 coilovers and new gas shocks, than old shocks, and springs from ebay.....damn son everyone knows that.lol

It should be as good as stock for performance, but it will probally be alot stiffer, depending on how low u go with the coilovers.

try searching prelude archives instead - "kyb".
It looks like lowering on the GR2s can overload them and cause them to blow rather quickly.

GR-2 shocks are like stock replacement. You should go with AGX and much happier!

GR-2's are a good replacement, but not so much for coil overs. I would have suggested Koni's
