I think I'm leaving Friday night to meet up with the KC area bunch by Saturday morning. I have no idea after that. Should be fun though.

Seems similar to the route that Chris and I will be taking (leaving from Lexington)

What time would you expect to hit I-64? That's probably where we would meet you. Also, judging by when you want to leave, Charleston, WV seems like it would be a good spot to take a break, get some lunch, and maybe form a larger meeting point.

It will take me around 3 hours to get to Lexington.

I can leave eailer or later depending on what time everybody else is leaving.

IIRC, we had talked about taking a similar route for the MO and west folks.. except taking 64 straight from STL would be the best bet for most of us..

Omaha/KC guys were just having a drink over the subject Saturday after the races.

We're leaving Saturday morning ~ no later than 8AM & heading west**CORRECTION- "heading EAST"**. Several of us have trailers & we want to get to VIR early/mid afternoon Sunday, since we've got to handle registration & stuff.

That's all that was defined at this point.

Word..

So far, it seems like Lexington will be an ideal meeting point for a lot of midwest people heading east on 64.

Saturday night FTW!!!!! Jeff, I think we should aim for 6am Sat. morning. It is evident we won't leave until 9am if we shoot for 8am.

Jeff and John, are you guys really heading West?
I don't know the route, but if so, that would be PIMP. I wouldn't have to drive to KC then back.. I can meet up on the highway, or if you guys wanted to stay here the night before and hop on the highway in the morning, it would save over an hour (if we are indeed heading west).

last year, everyone was like, what is your username. There are too many ITR.... to differentiate, so I figured I might as well go with MOVE OVER or REVO EVOM
I can't believe it has been a year already!
have you done any work to the R since last expo?

I would like to throw out here that I am in NorthEastern Indiana. Fort Wayne to be exact. I plan on leaving some time Sunday morning. But I haven't done any real solid planning as of today. I do plan on trailering my ITR though. I should also have a laptop hooked up to GPS and also a Valentine 1.

If anyone is going to be passing by or following the same route as me, I wouldn't mind meeting up. But like I said, I haven't even looked at the route yet.

Thanks guys!

I'd like to leave ~8am Sat morning and make at least Lexington, KY. From that point on, does anybody know which route thru WVa and VA is the most "trailer-friendly?"

I'm too busy thinking about all the Yuengling I'll be bringing back "heading west".

I too will be EAST bound & down loaded up & truck. We goin to do what they say can't be done. We've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there....ok enough.

What time is everyone planning on being at VIR? It seems theres a group that wants to be there Sunday Morn/Early Afternoon.

It should take about 7 hours to get to VIR from from Lexington.

Is is possible to make a meet point in KY at 8:00 am. That would get us to VIR at about 2-3 pm.
