hi. i have a question about the 98 civic ex fuel filter. i'm not sure where i should begin unscrewing to remove it. i tried using a wrench to remove the big bolt, but didn't use too much force because i'm scared i'm going to break something. any information or guidelines would be much appreciated, thanks.

also, if i'm smelling gas when i'm warming up the car and i have my windows open, is that normal?
