ok i think i have a big problem! im doing....... well im done with my b18c1 swap the only thing left to do is wire it all up! i got the "88-91 si hf civic crx" wiring kit from rewire because they are soo busy that it would take a month for me to send in my dx wires and my wiring harness from the b18c1 and have them put it together and send it back out to me.. well im stuck i have my dx harness and the kit but nothing fits im guessing i have do depin some of my crx plugs and pin them into the new harness but i have no idea where to start any ideas? i could use some pics or a diagram or soemthing .. later tonight ill try and post pictures of what i have. i just need to know if it can be done using that kit and the dx wires and the b18 harness if i can put it all together?!?!?! someone please help ahh!!!!

you're in luck just finished doing a crx... im gonna try to help as much as possible.. but you're gonna have to double check me... just pm if you need more help

basically all you have to is figure out if your gonna use obd0 injec. or obd1..
-if you're using obd1 injectors your gonna need to get obd1 clip, and put them in to your harness simply match the colors, also on the wires that plug into the resiter box simply ground(tape them all together).

-if using obd0 injec. just leave harness alone. and resitor box hooke up..

-for temp. fan switch on the gsr that sensor is located on top of the thermostat housing and on your motor it should be the two prongs sticking out the block next to the oil pressure switch.. just cut the plug that went into those two prongs and extend them to you the location of that on the gsr.

-map sensor some crx have it in firewall so just extend it to the one on the grs's throttle body.

thats pretty much it.

-wiring vtec, knock sensor and iabs has been covered alot here so it shouldnt be problem searching it

Odd, i dont have a "temp. fan switch". I do have what looks to be a coolant sensor in the thermo housing, but other than that the only things on the back of the block are the knock and oil pressure sensors. I know with my LS block i had a sensor with a long probe (about 2-3 inches) that went into the block. It had 2 prongs coming out, but i do not have this on my GSR, should there be one?

For the IAB, knock and vtec, just go to http://www.rywire.com and go to the obd0-obd1 conversion instructions on the right near the bottom. If not call them, they're awesome, i called and peter called me back before i could finish my voicemail.

From what i understand on the resistor box removal, you want to cut all the wires going into the plug to the box and solder them together and tape them...not ground them. This essentially voids out the resistance taken by the box so they get a solid 12v. You can then just remove the resistor box, i cut mine on the actual cars harness so i could take the box out in full with the connector just incase.

odd why do you have a temperature sensor on your thermo-housing, that a switch buddy it send signal to to ecu to turn on your rad. fan, on obd0 block the use to have in the back next to oil pressure sensor/switch between oil filter its two prongs that stick out, you temparature sensors are at the head two small prongs one is for your gauge the other is for the ecu... so your ODD
