Single stage VS. Base/clear color match?
Im going to jam the LX next week, its going to be long beach blue pearl. If I use a single stage urethane paint on the jams how will the color match be when I use base/clear on the rest of the car? Shouldnt be to noticable right?
Whats "noticeable" is more of an opinion, witch varies from person to person. The best way to answer your question would be to do a spray out test of each method, and compare. Each spray out should be done in the exact conditions relating to how the job will be painted. Using a 2 stage method on the jams wouldn't take much more time and would yield a good match. Honestly you should be fine, but there is many variables, including how picky you are about the car.

I didnt think about that. Guess Ill try it and see.

Thats not true on all cars, some factory production cars have one light coat of clear on the inside door jams. Factory paint doesn't always match perfect either.
