my dome light works.. just not when i open my door.. when the passenger door is opened.. it'll turn on fine.. but just not the driver door. i can manually turn it on and off. i'm guessing its something with my driver door sensor. anyone have any idea?

 

Your driver side door switch is either bad or it has a bad connection going to the switch. Easy way to find out is to open the door, pull the top of the rubber boot that covers the switch back, unscrew the switch and then use either a test light or a simple wire to connect the wire plugging into the switch to the body ground....
