sparkin, but wont start
hey i was hopin i could find someone who could help me solve this problem. i got a 91 integra that was workin up until finished workin on it. just replaced valve cover gasket and spark plugs and wires w/ new distributor. after i finished couldnt get the car to start. car turns and is getting a spark but doesn't want to start. anyone got any ideas?
are you getting fuel?? Listen for the fuel pump to turn on for 3 seconds with the key in igntion in the on position. FUel pump is located underneath the backseat.
If you dont hear buzzing for 3 seconds then it could be your fuel pump or main relay. I recommend purchasing a multimeter which you can get a cheap one for like $8
Also get some type of manual so you have some other ideas for future problems(in case more occur)

You didn't change anything else? What plug gap did you use?

even plug gap shouldn't prevent total inoperable conditions. Make sure all the electrical connectors are hooked up as far as air flow goes, otherwise make sure it's getting fuel. I can't remember if you can on these heads, but make sure the cams aren't 180 degrees out (sorry you can do that on a dsm)
you can also compression test it to make sure the head is on correct but not starting is usually only caused by catastrophic errors (not meaning super bad, but missing LARGE portions of something i.e. fuel) most cars will even run in the wrong spark order, granted they will run like CRAP but they still will usually start.
