Default 2 CE Codes, Car sputters, Stock obd1 gsr motor

Yesterday I made this post https://honda-tech.com/zero...89053. So last night after researching this **** I went out and drove the car. It started and ran fine, with the CE light on, throwing all 6 codes I listed in the link.

I was on the freeway doing about 80+/- for a steady 15mins. I slowed to a normal/safe mph about 45-50 and put it in 3rd giving it a good 75%-80% throttle acceleration for about 10 seconds, and I did this a total of 3 times. For about 5 seconds after everything seemed find until I tried to gas it up in 5th at around 70mph and it sputtered a good bit, but didnt completly die out, so I exited as I pulled up to the light on the exit it idle's normal as can be around 800. As I proceed to drive off from the light 2krpm+ it's starts doing that sputtering ****, again a light dose nothing real hard yet. I relized feathering the gas helps somewhat remedy the sputter, I pulled over got out and checked everything common under hood, plugwires,elec.wires,grounds,dist,fuse's. While I was parked diagnosing this the car idle'd perfect. I drive off and sure enough, ****'s still sputtering, unless under complete acceleration, or is being finessed. I pulled over once again, checked all the same ****, pulled the ecu fuse under and let it sit for about 2-3mins tryed checking the codes and still was throwing all 6, finally I said expletive it and kept driving it around (city driving, traffic lights, no highway).

About 1hr later I was in a parking lot and thought to myself, in one last attempt for the night I'll unplug the ecu itself and turn the power on, then turn off and reconnect. I did this and the car seemed to be running alot smoother, and is currently only throwing 2 codes (as it did when the motor was first installed) 65 & 54, O2H & CKF. So after that I pull out and start to accelerate about 60% throttle and it sputters again, I shake it off and keep rolling, about 5blocks later I came to a stop, put it in 1st and slowly took it up into rpms (40%throttle), vtec was engaging proper and seemed to be smooth so I punched it, and it reacted fine, did it a few more times and after that the sputter went away and she was back to driving normal as could be, well for the next 20mins anyway...was riding on the freeway and was all good, when i exited and started driving it went back to acting up, I killed it and chilled for a good 10mins, then started and drove off, it acted up bad under mild acceleration then put it in N and came to a light, idle normal, took off and it was uncontrollable until it died out, even when I tryed to compression start it, it still just decreased in rpms.

Wouldnt start up for ****, the motor cranks strong, turnsover great, but wont start. Fuel's good from to the tank to the rail, However It wasnt getting spark last night after it'd acted up really bad. When I came to a coast and pulled over(after it became insane) it started right up approx. 8mins after spasing out. When I went to leave it died, not even 5seconds after reversing. Tryed to start and it just turned over wouldnt even start, just cranked. Tryed to start again 5-10-20-30mins later and wouldnt start even once for nothing. So I towed it home, went to check it out this morning and it started right up, warmed up perfect like a dime, left the house got maybe 20ft uphill and it died under acceleration. Still only throwing 2 codes 65/54.

obd2a to obd1 jumper wire and a obd1 ecu will fix your problem.

Thanks. also my radiator fan doesnt work (hasnt ever overheated), that part of the the harness isnt getting power but my headlamps/etc are on the same harness and work just fine, and my Rpm gauge has been going south for the last couple of weeks. I also tryed a gsr ecu obd2 of course, and it still didnt start, Im narrowing it down to the dist. which I may test today.

maybe bad fan switch? or thermostat could be messed up and it stays open the whole time thats why your car doesn't over heat or the fan doesn't turn on.
