Noob user needs advice on Frontlip,Sideskirts and backlip for his Civic '03
Hello peeps,
I am noob user to this forum and would like to get my civic 03 a new set of front lip, sideskirts, rearlip and rear spoiler. Can anybody suggest what looks great for my car model? I also have a budget on it ...so expensive stuff please. I appreciate any help on this. Oh btw, I live in Detroit area (more precisely Troy, Michigan) any suggestions as to the body shops where I can get this done would be great too!!!
I like the body work on this blue car here
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1983195
but his car's side skirts are not so appealing (not sure if it has one!!). Also I heard there is some legal crap on the height of the lip from ground...Is that true?
Thanks
J

Veloz/OEM aero sideskirts are the ONLY sideskirts i would ever use. As for front lip, i had the mugen style, and type R style. I prefered the look of the Type R. For rear lip... i would go OEM/Veloz again.
are these kits a hassle to drive with speedbumps and dips?
and do most bodyshops already have them or do i buy them first and then bring them in?

You'll have to buy them, then bring them in. The nice part about going through H and A, is that they'll pre-paint them for you. So, it's just installation, and you're set.
Also, at stock ride height, clearance is definitely not an issue.

Relatively easy if you're fairly handy with tools. Even if you're not it's still quite basic stuff.
Sorry fellas,
I was out of town for a while and did not get a chance to reply. Anyways, thanks y'all for the suggestions and comments.

Hey Vantage,
Where can I ask for these thingies. I mean I would rather not buy online and find not so suitable on my car but would instead go to a store and see for myself. Also I am not at all a 'Do it Yourself'person. Like I mentioned before, I live in Troy, MI and if there is any place like a bodyshop (I know you would not know if you are not around from here, but anyone who's reading this post livin in Troy) that I can get this kinda work done, I would appreciate if you can shed some light on this one!

Hey dude, thanks for the post with good info, I appreciate it. I am really so not into the Original Equipment that Honda has to offer. Somehow, they really look "oddly formal". But hey, if you know any other place, just pass it on!!

Just for future reference, for things like this try using the "search" feature, top right of your screen, in red.
A quick search for "front lip mugen type b r" found this thread which has some useful info.
