Default Custom Kart

Hey guys im new here and i have some questions that you might be able to help me with.

Im thinking of buying this kart and doing a rebuild on it and i was wondering if it would be possible a good deal.I want a really cheap cart.

1)Should i get it or make one from scratch?

2)If i took if for a rebuild do you think, would this work ok?

I plan on painting it,making some body panels, adding some frame reinforcements, getting more hp somehow, getting a good set of tires, an exhaust system and a real seat.

3)Where is it legal for me to drive those?

4)Is it better to buy a good one instead or work on that? Making one from scratch might be too hard for a first project.

5) Where would i be able to find sheet metal and a gun to weld? Also if you know good sites for parts let me know. Thanks

Its got 5.5hp honda engine and goes for $180.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

i dont know about the laws where your from, but here in NY your are not allowed to drive them at all. cops have the right to take them away. ive had gopeds and a mini bike and sometimes the cops catch you and let you go, but one time they knocked on my front door and told my parents i couldn't drive or they'd take it away.

Thats basic, all you have is a motor, seat, frame, wheels and a steering wheel. Nice. Throw some D's on that bish.

It be a fun project if you could find a place to drive it.

That would be badass,125hp with that little weight would be hella fast. How would he put it to the wheels tho?

im curious to see that.Dum as ******* **** tho.Why would you get sucha heavy h22a on a kart?
All you need is 2 strokes and 1/10 of the size of an H22. If youre going to put a car engine in one at least make sure its a d ,b or k maybe even f but not an H wow.

Wouldnt be the best way to go but it still be fast and dope.

Kinda like having a V6 civic, fast but no practical especially with much better options.

Woulnd be too hard if he got it to fit in there,id be just worried about the engine running.

1)Youll go ******* deaf lol!
2)Fuel tank space?
3)Battery?
4)transmission to the wheels?
5)ecu?
6)oit pan space?

Too tight it be impossible.
