Default OBX Race Header for 02-04 Type S

Anyone buy the OBX race header off ebay for $250 shipped. If so, is it a good buy. Ive heard mixed reviews but never saw anything on honda-tech yet.

buy your header at autozone next to the neon underbody lights. probably get the same results out of it as obx

ok well here ya go guys,,, the OBX header is made on the same jig as the DCRH.. i know for a fact OBX made theirs right off of DC's, the design is identical.. as for the dcRH its a piece of **** too.. so dont talk it up, you have to use ESMM's or a torque damper to prevent the flex from breaking apart on both models ( obx and DC) not to mention on both the hanger placement is dumb and you shouldnt even use it, just cut it off.. it wont hurt nuttin, these headers when dyno'd on the same car made the SAME WHP no differance at all.. you can ask church im sure he will vouch for such claims.. the welds on the OBX are sloppy but get the job done and ive only heard of one that had a weld break.. and if it happens be a man and get it welded back... if your locking for a bang for the buck buy the OBX header you wont regret it, its a better deal than the dc for the same power.. it will hold up just fine.. so quit bashing on it.. now if you wana man up about you header situation buy a SMSP, or a hytec, or if you dont wana go 3 inch get the buddy club RH best one out there for the non 3 in guys.. in my opinion.. not all OBX **** is bad.. a lot prolly is , but damn do yer research

but it is a common problem for the dc5
if you don't have either a esmm or a tq damper then our rh will have a tendency to crack at the welds
especially for low quality rh (dc/strup/obx)
most wouldn't last 3 months without it

</TD></TR></TABLE>i personally am not a fan of megan in exception to their suspension setups
if you want the best bang for your buck then the dcrh would be your choice
i can't really vouch for obx since i have not experience with it
the megan short+testpipe combo doesn't match the power of a rh
