Just got an exedy stage 1 clutch, 8804, to install on my first gen b16. Car has a jdm b16 y1 tranny but it has grinds so I have another usdm YS1 tranny that I wanted to put it, did not know year of tranny, serial number is ys1-1063526.
Problem is that my new clutch doesnt fit the new tranny? Both clutch and both trannnys are 24 spline so why isnt this fitting?
Please give me an answer, Im assuming wrong year clutch for the tranny, but i need my car up and running for monday!!!

 

the ys1 has bigger spline, so grab a clutch from 92-93 integra gsr, then you'll be cool, same thing happen to me

 

what about axles? will they still work?

Yes they should.
