CARB approved intake? Do I need to?
Sup guys. I have a question. I'm thinking of getting an ebay intake. But I'm worried next time I'm going to have a SMOG check. Do I really need to have the CARB approved intake? For all I know, intakes do not cause smog. I live in California, so they are pretty extreme.
You will absolutely need the CARB sticker in order to pass a Smog Check. Also if you can pulled over by the cops and see that you don't have a carb sticker on your intake, they will give you a fix it ticket.
DANG that sucks. Stupid california. It's an intake. It sucks in air. WOW! w/e. I guess i just need to find one with a CARB. So much $$$
check the for sale thread usually a aem one...yeah you need a carb but some cops dont care...but i got a fix it ticket intake and exhuast 6 billz yooo hella gay
Dang stupid CA. That's one bad thing about living here. All the good car retailers are over here so they charge tax and the CARB is killing me.
OK then. I'm looking into the cheapest carb. I'm thinking of AC Autotechnic. <--- Anyone heard if they are good or not? They're intake system is like $90 but carb approved.

If you werent aware, strut tower braces are a fart in the wind, in my opinion. You WILL NOT notice ANY sort of signifigant stiffness increase. Your better off buying a polyurethane bushing set for your car.

Just to tell you, my bro put on some Tanabe Strut bars. He put it on his RSX. They are Pretty good ones, and they make such a good response. Steering feels more active and handling got so much better. But I might not get it. Maybe if I have some extra $$$
