seatbelts......
wondering about seatbelt replacement free of charge by my honda dealership.....
i got my car stolen last year, mint 90 si boosted b16. any ways, they couldnt get the car started cuz of my kill switches and such, so they cut my seatblet of my door and tied it to my traction bar and towed it away with a truck. long story short cops pulled them over, they took off, and the belt snapped. they got away because the cop had to pull the ebrake on my car before it rolled into the hiway. will honda replace the belts?
if not will a 89 si belt work?

I don't understand what does Honda have to do with your car being stolen and belts cut in the process? If you bring it in for repairs, of course, Honda will fix and replace it...for a fee unless they have a promo that I have never heard before. To answer your question, I believe 89 belts are different from 90 since part of your seat belt is mounted on the door and 89 is not...You can probably use one from a 91.
Honda will NOT replace your seatbelt free of charge. 88-89 crx model seat belts will not interchange with 90-91 seat belts. Check your local junk yard for some seatbelts of a 90 -91 crx. They shouldn't cost more then $25. On a positive note, at least you got your car back semi intact

seriously everyone always says 88-89 are in the pillar, but tell that to my 89 with the door mounted style
