Default First production: My RMS GT42R CRX topmount w/ 4" dp

Here it is, only one I know of in existance for a street CRX/EF with a full size housing GT42r. Ryan personally hand delivered this piece to me here in Florida. As soon as I get my block back from Justice, this thing will see some street time.
Also included pics of the mock up car.

Looks good.

Is that how the downpipe sits? It's going to have to tuck A LOT closer to the pan than that to work on 24.5-25" tires.

What's up with the pie cut #1 runner?

my block is a little taller, that why the extra space for the dp.
lol, the #1 runner had to clear the compressor cover, and the vibrant tbelt tensioner, and still keep the huge 42r compressor out of the sheetmetal and the headlight.

I thought the pick up side was the only difference. And whats so different about the heads ? To my understanding, and I have tried, a ls header will fit the same on a gsr head and block combo. Or maybe I'm not thinking correctly.

Looks good, although when you don't have a radiator support, the GT42Ris not that difficult to make fit into a crx, still hard but you do free up a lot of room.

I was about to say...I thought I was about to see someone making a mani fitting this all behind the stock front end. Clearly the T-bar must be removed. Not too bad overall

Well......to answer some ?'s guys. the gsr head is nearly 1/2" taller and we made the dp a little lower to compensate for Jareds gsr head. The car was set to jareds exacting ride height in order to clear the dumptubes and get them as low to the ground and not spray his oil pan/motor with exhaust. Overall a big pain in the *** but a challenge, when it was done i couldnt be happier. Good luck with everything Jared.....stay in touch.

looks good so far. it looks like the hood might have trouble closing over that huge turbo though!

Nop the hood closes......if you do have this manifold turbo setup you do have to run hood pins cuz the sheetmetal up from needs to be trimmed/removed. As far as im concerned if you're running a t4 in a crx you can live with hoodpins lol. Thx guys!

not to mention a catch pan, i'd redo that dp to really really HUG the oilpan, tyler's car drags his catch pan before burnout when he rolls through it, and mine is just a hair away from dragging also

otherwise, looks good
