Default B16 rod question

With a B16 block using the ITR pistons what rods will work?? Lookin to get 11:5:1 comp just wondering if stock rods will hold up or do I have to get eagle or another aftermarket brand.

You can't use an aftermarket forged rod with a stock cast piston, they use different styles of wrist pins.

Stock rods will hold up. You could upgrade rod bolts if you wanted.

The ITR pistons will give you less than stock compression (about 10:1).The CTR pistons will give you just less than 12:1.The stock rods are fine for NA street cars.JE (as well as other aftermarket companys) makes a 11.5:1 pistons. The part number for the JEs is 224229 for stock 81mm pistons.
