Default Off Topic - Car Vandalism and Antenna

Yesterday I had my car parked in the street RIGHT in front of my house. When I parked it there, everything seemed fine. Once it started getting darker and darker out, I decided to go out with some friends. When I went out to start my car and leave, my friend noticed my antenna was bent in half. It looks almost as if someone grabbed the top of it and tried ripping it off entirely. You have to be pretty immature to go around town doing this. I was pretty pissed when I saw that, but it's time for a new antenna anyways. So, in a way I'll just be getting a new antenna sooner. But, someone in this town is bound to open their mouth to the wrong person and I'll eventually find out who it was. I can't wait for that day to come.

Anyways, I'm thinking of going to get a new antenna today. Any suggentions on what kind to get? There's the power stock looking one that goes up and down, regular silver and black ones that stay up, or short black ones (almost like the s2k ones, just longer).

Sucks dood. I hate when people do that. I like the S2k ones. Short. But they might jack it. I would get the power up and down. So once it's down, people can't do crap to it.

Yeah it does suck. I'm so mad, but that antenna never went down. I went out and got an antenna today, but looks wicked bad on the car. And to top it off, it's raining out so i have a sock to plug the hole where the antenna should be. How much is the s2k antenna? I also took the old motor and the whole wire that goes all the way to the head unit out too. So can anyone help me?

You know what. I was just thinking... Instead of going out and getting a whole new antenna, what if i just went out and got some Bondo and patched the hole where the antenna should be? I was looking in the Accord Picture Forum and saw that a lot of 5th Gen's had the antennas taken off and the hole was covered. I think it would look hell of a lot better that having an antenna. Then, what I could do is somehow wire the wire for the antenna to somewhere in my car to get a good singal for the radio. Any suggestions to this?

Do one of those police car antennas. Such a good reception. LOL!!! put like 3.

Anyways there's gotta be a conversion. Like the in glass ones from 96-97 Accords. You can somehow retrofit it. Can get ones for like S2k with the detachable ones. Just take it out at night.

Hmm. I think tomorrow im just going to Bondo the hole. Forget having a noticeable antenna. There has to be a conversion no doubt since I see so many 5th Gen's without the dumb power antennas that end up failing on you.
