Happened to me. It only took about a day from initial ticking to catastrophic failure. Get it fixed, it won't go away, it won't get better, it will only get worse.

I would have swore the engine slung a rod or 2 when mine broke, 45 mph in a hard left hand turn in second with it nearly to the floor.

well i've had mine like so for abour 1 year now and no real critical damade or danger. do it when you get a chance buy a use one here on hond-tech marketplace.
Or go to autozone and get a remanufactured one. Mine cost about 70 bucks, after I returned my bad one for the core charge. Plus side to this, the remanufactured axles have a lifetime warranty. Ive had the warranty for 5 years now, and everytime I bust an axle, I take the broken one in and get a new one for free! Definatley a good deal, in my opinion that is.
check the inside of your rear wheels for those balancing weights. Mine was clicking also when i made hard turns. Turns out, when i made hard turns, the geometry of the rear made the rear wheel weights hit part of the rear arm. Just see if you have any weights on the inside lip of the rear wheels, and see if they've been scrapping anything. might save you some money.
Would it still be the CV shafts if I dont experience and clicking under acceleration only under braking while turning.
It happens mostly at the apex of a more sharp corner, long gradual turns dont make any noise.
I checkout out the weights on the inside of my wheels but thats not the issue. The only other thing I can think of is that when I got an inspection I was told my upper A arm bushings are getting pretty worn.
