How much argon do you go threw \tig welding ?
Well consider if you are backpurging while tigging, you'll use maybe 25-35CFH.
Even a typical 4ft 83cuft cylinder will only last 3 hours approx. Remember though, that's weld time and pre/post purge time. Also back purging, depending on how conservitive you are with that.
I will tell you right now, that gas is the most expensive consumable.
Ok just wanted to make sure. I pretty much made a intake, 2 intercooler pipes, some exahust work. Y pipe assembly, some welding on some dirt bike cases and i have 1/4 tank left

Yep...just filled mine again day before yesterday and I thinked I pulled somethin'....lol. My TIG is tucked against the wall between my compressor and welding table, so getting the bottle out is rough. Had to lift it up...it just wasn't good...lol.
LOL yeah mines not to bad its on the wall and the bottle is there. Just sucks blowing 80 bones every few months lol. Just wanted to make sure it was not just me.
