Default Brake help.

Ok, I searched on the Prelude forums using the SEARCH button, and I clicked archived files.
Well my problem is my brake pedal feels very soft/sluggish? Well it gets to a point (and I realized this a few days ago, I didn't think it was so bad) that I have the brake pressed all the way in, and I softly start taking my foot off, and the car starts rolling (it's an automatic,) there's other times when I'm getting close to a stop sign/light and I hit the brakes and the pedal goes in almost all the way, and if I take my foot off and press it again, it feels much harder.

Well from the related thread I found searching, this was the answer.

"drain your abs fluid, refill with dot3 brake fluid, drive around and slam on your brakes in a closed area
drain your brake fluid cylinder, refill with dot 3 brake fluid, bleed the brake system."

Help, please, thanks.

EDIT: It's a 1995 Prelude S btw.

since you have a base model, you can skip the abs part, but definitely bleed those brakes, sounds like you have air in the lines. If that doesn't do it, start checking master cyl.

This is also a sign that your master brake cylinder could be bad. This is fairly common and you can get a new part for around 70 dollars.

Alright, thanks guys, I'll bleed the lines, and if that doesn't work I'll probably need the master brake cylinder..
Thanks.
