ITB's, Ok to run on stock b16??

Default ITB's, Ok to run on stock b16??

Wondering if its ok to run ITBs on a stock b16 with a good header?? Obviously need a tune, but will I gain alot from it?? Any suggestion to get the most out of ITBs??

yeah realized I put it in FI like 5 secs after I press submit lol. Would I make any gains from ITBs, are they worth the tuning cost???

they are not a wise investment, time and money wise, without more substantial work. itb's are not about peak power.

Since you can only ram tune one frequency wouldnt that be ALL they are about? besides throttle response and noise Either way, it seems a lot of serious NA guys are going back to plenum based single throttle bodied setups.

yeah I read alot of people just suggesting to get a ported IM and 68 mm TB instead of the hassle of ITBs, but it just seems like ITBs could put out some power with a tune, more than an IM for that matter.

it would seem so. but there are a lot of things to consider. it's not as simple as saying itb's will make more power than a manifold.

Yeah but just logically makes sense having 4 ITBs @ 42mm, compared to having a ported IM w/ a 68mm TB....
