do you think this cam is over kill? And how much power can be expected on a set up like this?

Just use a very good header on that setup with those cams and you will be very happy with the results.

Just use a very good header on that setup with those cams and you will be very happy with the results.

just got back from nopi. the car isnt running right it went a 12.7 @ 107. The tuner thinks it is a problem with the port work of the head? tsr did the head work and it looked ok. it doesnt break up it runs good but no power. i know the a/f were 13.9 during the pass and the egt got up to 1100. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

you should be fine these cams bleed of alot of compression because they are so big so your static compression will most likely drop into the mid 11's

is the car tuned on the dyno or just street tuned?

you should be fine these cams bleed of alot of compression because they are so big so your static compression will most likely drop into the mid 11's

i already have the cams installed when then took the car to the dyno( it was a mustang) it put 197hp and 138trq its not my car it is my friends car, like i said before the tuner seems to think that a bad port and polish is killing the power.
