Have the edges of the pistons been modified, or just the valve pockets? Are you going to install bushings in the rods or run the floating pins steel-on-steel like the S2000 engines do?

Looks good, keep us posted.

The motor will most likely see 9500 rpms, and yes .025" will be enough clearance.

im sorry, but why are you people making threads for motors that have not even been put together...
it clearly says in the guidelines threads that just show off parts have no place in the all motor forum....there is absolutely nothing technical in this post...
we even have a all motor dyno stickied at the top of the forum....post a graph in there when the engine is done...but until then, this is not the place...

we seriously need to start filtering all the crap that goes through here out....it makes the forum look bad and since there is nothing but lame build threads cluttering the pages up, it makes a lot of the guys with the answers not want to come around any more...

Well a lot people post up there stuff and show their builds ups until they finish them. I'm not just flaunting my pics. I fully intend to show more info on the building process until its finished. This Monday I will have the short block completed.

Is it required to do that to the valve reliefs on the Type-S pistons to run the Pro2 cams? I'm planning on doing the Type-S piston with Pro2 combo myself here soon.

It depends on your setup. If its with the h23 crank and rods then yes u have to cut the pistons if u want to run a stock head gasket. You could just run a thicker head gasket and that would solve your issue as well.

yea i totally hear yea man, and mean people have enough content already in all motor like the in depth technical discussions, treads teaching, people learning, new idea's being brought out..

i mean the massive ammounts of endless ego boostin and little dick complex banter thats being dropped on a daily basis here... that a build up thread just gets in the way.

I have most of the short block put together and fully plan on finishing it and dyno numbers and everything. This is no different from any other thread showing build up picks from beginning to end. ROFL ego im just sharing what I have and how h2b's perform. I'm not here to make anybody feel inferior at all. Get out of my thread if your gonna be a dick.
