last month my temp gauge was droping to half way at open throttle so i decided to put in a new oem thermostat. everything had been good up until my drive home tonight from work. the temp was fluctuating between the 1st line before half, and the 2nd line before half. what could this be? the car is stock. could it be a faulty thermostat from honda?? and is my warranty on the thermostat void since i installed the part myself??

 

Check and see if you properly purged the coolant system.

Check all the grounds in the engine bay, especially the one on the thermostat houseing.

 

Make sure you bleed your system

i did all this....seems like the temp fluctuates for the first 5min after it warms up and then it looks like its ok.....could this be a sensor??
