hey I am always reading on people waiting for their stuff from hytech. what is the deal? I have herd nothing but good from the company's product, so why cant they make orders? just curiouse b/c I am thinking of a header and dont want to pay money and wait for what I paid for six months earlier.

I recently spoke to John @ Hytech Exhausts, and he informed me that if I place a $500 deposit, I would have the header and exhaust full system by the end of June, early July..
ITR1236 waited 10 months for his Hytech Header. It was a very nice header, but with his JUN III Head package, it only made 1 peak HP over the JUN that he had previously. The JUN also made 4-5 more in the midrange. Not ******* Hytech, but spend your $$$ carefully.
If I had that kind of money to spend, I'd get the TODA header. It might not make as much HP (it would be close though), but it has its advantages:
1. Awesome ground clearance.
2. Standard length so you can buy any exhaust you want.
3. Great build quality.
4. Better clearance from the motor/tranny/chasis (I've seen pics where HYTECH had some clearance issues).
5. Toda header is cheaper than Hytech.
6. You don't have to wait half a year for a Toda header.
For the same reason why I won't buy a body kit for my car, I will not get a header with poor ground clearance.
That's my $0.02.
EDIT: I should get some sort of commission for speaking so highly of Toda's 4-2-1 header

Just like any very busy custom company, there is a certain amount of lead time that is required. I was recently down at HyTech and saw how many projects that he was working on at once...no wonder it takes so long. John has recently hired an additional person to assist in the building process, so hopefully the process will be a little bit streamlined for a little better turnaround in the future.

have u guys got other pics than the one on the toda website of the toda 4-2-1 header, i just want to see whcih primaries connect to which ie. if 1st and 4th join; 2nd and 3rd, or 1st and 2nd; 3rd n 4th etc...
John is taking my car in on Monday to test fit his twin-loop catback exhaust along with the header-cat that I also purchased. The headers have been done for a week or two from what he told me. I would assume whoever has been waiting for the exhaust system should be getting it soon.

BTW - John should have some exhausts available for shipping within 3 weeks.
